Choosing Journalism

I have been interested in Journalism for a long time and in the future   hope to work for a newspaper or have a job in the photojournalism area. I believe that it is extremely important to educate  the population in what is happening in the world around us, whether it be local news or worldwide.  I also enjoy watching journalistic documentaries, in particular Louis Theroux because he gives a real insight into other peoples lives without judging them or showing how he feels about their way of life.  I would like to be able to travel with a job in Journalism and learn about different cultures as I believe this would be greatly beneficial to writing articles as I would be central to the news story.  I hope that this Journalism course will give me options to pursue a career with a newspaper company.
